Now I do not claim to be a fashion expert. In fact, I even feel kind of silly dedicating a section of my blog to FASHION. However, it did occur to me that this blog is called Dressed in Black and it makes sense to share some of my favorite looks. Because at the end of the day, I do enjoy putting together outfits for myself and am always so honored when my friends ask me to style them. And who knows, maybe these will inspire some of your looks too!
My friend Sammi visited me here in London this past week. We picked right up where we left off and did so much during her visit. Excited to share some of those photos in future posts! In addition to her lovely company, she brought along some amazing pieces that I just had to borrow and style for myself - specifically this black Oversized Blazer from REBELFLOW.
For this look, I wanted to channel Posh Spice herself - Victoria Beckham. Street style is huge in London, and I'm BIG into it.

I think two of the greatest compliments you can give a person are on their music taste and their style. I've always thought that these are two ways in which someone is able to truly express themselves. You're actually complimenting them on something that they've developed over time versus something like a physical feature that they were (or weren't - no shame) born with. So, next time you like someone's outfit, be sure to let them know.
