Living in London has been my dream for the longest time. So the fact that I made it happen, and now have to kiss that reality goodbye, my emotions are all over the place. But I can confidently say that this was the best chapter of my life yet.
This year was not at all what I expected, yet everything I could have asked for and more. From finding Flat 17 and creating the infamous Halloween group chat to going on some fun dates and earning my title of flirty face, I can't help but feel so grateful for this experience.
Something that I personally believe I'm good at is putting myself out there. Like outgoing, but not in the traditional sense of the word. I mean I'll be the first to say that I am not the life of the party. But when it comes to, for the lack of a better term, grabbing life by the balls I have a pretty good track record. I've been known to go after what I want and not stop until I get it. And even though my London plans have been put on pause, I’m leaving on my own terms which I’m very fortunate for.
After a perfect last week with my beautiful friends - I got my London summer after all! These are some of the highlights and people that have made London feel like home.
Until I can return, all these London memories will be living in my head rent-free.
