A little under a year ago, Hult's marketing team reached out to me and asked if I was open to being the cover star of their Masters brochure. And in true growth mindset fashion, I said hell yeah*. (*I did not, in fact, reply with that but I definitely thought it).
Right as London was going into its first stages of lockdown, I hopped into an Uber with my bag of clothing options to Sunset Studio in south London. The place gave me downtown LA studio vibes, and I was obsessed. With its floor-to-ceiling windows, open brick walls, and gigantic Fiddle Fig, I got a little taste of what it's like to be a model going to a photoshoot. I loved every moment of it.
I've been on the planning side of photoshoots, but never was on this side of the camera. Honestly, it was so much fun. I'm extremely grateful to Hult for allowing me this experience - on top of what was one of the best years of my life yet.
Not only was I the "cover star" but I also got a two-page spread on the inside that was filled with some photos I shared and quotes from my interview with the team. I saw the digital copy for the first time back in September, but finally received my hard copy this week. It is surreal that my face will be sent out and seen by hundreds of prospective students. But what I especially love is that I have something tangible to remember my Masters experience with.
Thanks again to Hult for giving me this - I will forever cherish it.
