Palazzo, Primitivo, and Truffle Pasta | Jacuzzi

As Big Mamma's latest trattoria to open in west London, Jacuzzi is a feast for the eyes and stomach. To celebrate us securing our wedding venue (!!!) , we wanted to celebrate with a spontaneous dinner date. And typical to all of the Big Mamma Group restaurants, reservations are in high demand and even book out 20-30 days in advance. So needless to say, we were very lucky to score a last minute, Thursday night reso.

Located in South Kensington, we took the 360 bus to Royal Albert Hall (which we learned was where the Jonas Brothers were performing the next evening) and walked another 8 minutes to Jacuzzi. Once we arrived, we quickly learned that the restaurant had 4 floors - each so beautifully curated with Italian decor. It was White Lotus on crack, and we loved every bit of it.

For dinner, we took Primitivo as our wine, the Crudo di Gambero Rosso + focaccia for our starter, and of course the Spaghetti al Tartufo per 2 as our main. Although not the most authentic Italian food, everything was delicious and you seriously cannot beat the ambience of a Big Mamma restaurant.

One of my favorite little details of this one were the wine glasses! Written in gorgeous green font is the Italian saying Nella botte piccola c'e il vino buono - which basically translates to "good things come in small packages" and I couldn't agree more.

Still on my list are Ave Mario, Gloria Trattoria, and Pink Mamma in Paris! Read about our visit to Circolo Popolare here.
